Guest Groups
Sandy Cove Bible Camp is a ministry of One Hope Canada, a nondenominational organization whose policies and purpose are built on principles taken from the Bible. A local board of directors, year-round and volunteer missionaries vitally concerned for the camp and its work operate SCBC on a non-profit basis. The facilities and equipment have been developed since 1948 by the voluntary gifts and labours of many people interested in SCBC continuing its ability to offer an enjoyable Bible Camp experience.
The local church is very important to One Hope Canada. Over the past ten years we have welcomed many church groups for the day or overnight. We have also hosted family groups, home school groups, and Christian School groups. Some of those have an annual spot in our calendar like the Home Educators of NB and Fredericton Christian Academy.
If you want more information about being a Guest Group at Sandy Cove Bible Camp please contact the Camp Director, Gary Long, to begin that conversation.

- Playing – Sandy Cove has a variety of activities and skills that can be run by Guests with some needing to be run by our Team. Being on a lake, playing in and on the water is most enjoyable during the warm months.
Turning off the Trans-Canada Highway, you can find us about halfway between the Nackawic and King’s Landing exits. Follow along the river on NB-102, up the hill on Davidson Lake Road, then left onto Sandy Cove Lane for 1KM. We are only 35 mins north of Fredericton and 30 minutes south of Woodstock, on the beautiful Davidson Lake at Dumfries, NB. (Google Map location)
Started in 1949, Sandy Cove Bible Camp began on Davidson Lake to serve and minister to children and youth in New Brunswick. Some things that have never changed are the amazing sunsets, the crazy amount of fun that campers have here, and the desire that all campers grow closer to Jesus in the time that they are at Sandy Cove and after they leave.
Sandy Cove is an active summer camp leaving few dates available from June through August. However, the fall is a beautiful time at Davidson Lake to gather as a group as is the winter for smaller groups.
While you are at Sandy Cove it is our pleasure to serve you nutritious homestyle meals. We also have a hot beverage centre included with meals. Due to the commercial nature of our kitchen, and that one of our reasons for having Guest Groups is to serve you, we do not allow Guest Groups to use our kitchen and/or equipment.
